Thank you for sharing this info and preserving this history.  Where did you get your information about this particular winter?  One of the photos that I have uncovered, is a ship frozen solid in the Ohio.  You are welcome to a copy of the photo and the ships Captain if it is of any interest to you.  It is dated &quot;Winter of 1917&quot;.  I am unaware of direct connections with Camp Taylor but I am still looking into it.
